You can use the following tools to test the speed of your website. These tools are all free to use:
- https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/
- https://tools.pingdom.com/fpt/
- https://gtmetrix.com/
The 3rd on the list provides the most information and really helps you to pinpoint areas for improvement e.g. it’ll even tell you which images are missing size specification (this slows your website down) and it’ll tell you the size of those missing images. This makes optimising your website for speed even easier.
